For some reason today as I was reading I got that one Waking Ashland song (Edinger) stuck in my head. It was the weirdest thing because I haven't listened to that song (or band for htat matter) in a couple years maybe. Yup. That's my story. hahaha okay.. yeah.

I feel like summer has finally officially hit me because I no longer can tell what day it is. Pretty sad. I think in the first or second week of summer I started to clean out stuff from my closet. I need to throw so much crap away. But yeah, now, I don't know how many days/weeks later, I still have everything scattered around my room and two giant trash bags just hanging out. My room has literally no floor space whatsoever. I really need to clean. But I feel like I'm so busy lately that I don't have time to clean. And when I do, I feel like it's summer so I deserve a break and some relaxing time. I guess it's like school work. I never get around to doing long term projects because I procrastinate. I just can't believe it's happening even when it's just cleaning my room. wow. It's sad to think that I can't take everything I own with me to New York. I have so much stuff. Yes, I haven't gotten rid of everything yet but when I have, I feel like I would still have to leave a lot behind. Honestly, I don't think I can take all of my CD's with me nor any of my stuffed animals :( sad..

In other news, I got a debit card today (finally) and my dad is coming on July 12th or something so I'm getting my macbook then (finally) :D woohoo!

I feel like I should reflect on my 4 years in high school. But I'd rather not :/ hahaha
IT'S SUMMER BITCHES!!

I'm so glad that we finally finished our english project. We're amazing. I'm so proud of all of us for hanging in there the last week and cranking out an amazing musical. I can finally get the sleep that I need/want. And, I don't actually have much homework to do either. I just have to study for a few tests and finish up a worksheet for spanish. But other than that, this weekend should be very relaxing....
Or so I thought. My mom came home this afternoon from San Diego and checked the mail (since I did not do that yesterday because I fell asleep right after school) and recieved a seemingly innocent letter. It was not so innocent. Apparently, because of my stupid father who got into financial trouble way back when and ended up filing banckrupcy andf getting us all sued and whatnot, my mom's plus loans for paying my college tuition got denied. we applied for $20,000 because we figured we could swing 21,611 on our own. But I guess now we have to pay 41,611 all on our own. Thanks, dad. My mom is going to try to appeal and get our loan approved and I really hope it works. Thankfully I don't work or anything and so my stafford loans were accepted. But that's like $5,500 a year. I wish college was free. I wish I ddin't have to pay $54,441 for a year of education. I am angry.

Prom was so much fun! It's sad to think that that was my last formal dance though. But okay, now I have so much stuff to do asfhlsjghaljdfg

Here's my list of things I need/want to get accomplished:
-Finish Curious Incident study guide
-Finish financial aid loan apps
-Do the extra credit assignment for english
-Write critique
-Work on musical stuff
-Make CD for Michael
-Fill out practice records

Here's my list of what will most likely get done:
-Finish 6/8 pages of Curious study guide (which is okay because I'll have nothing to do during spanish 3rd per tomorrow so might as well do it then
-Maybe get at least one of my loan forms completed?
-Depending on if Yimu and I can bust out a project for extra credit, get that done while working on the musical
-Make a CD for Michael
-Practice records filled out during 1st period most likely

And tomorrow is a late start but I have the freaking scholarship recognition breakfast to go to at like 7:45am fml

The season is officially over. I don't know how to feel. I want to be happy for what it was and for all the good times and people but I'm sad. I feel like Jack is more sad than usual too. I know that I'm probably sad because I know I'll never get to be a part of something so great as this ensemble. But, I'm not REALLY sad.. i think it's because I'll still be seeing everyone until I graduate. When I think of it like that, I start to wonder if maybe I don't want to be sad right now because how am I supposed to feel when I'm actually leaving for New York at the end of August? I'm really sad and scared and uncertain of the future. I'm scared of losing everyone and being alone, but at the same time I'm hesitant to spend too much time with people because I know that I'll be leaving and it'll be just that much harder for me when that time comes. But then, I WANT to spend time with others because I know I won't be able to be with them later. I don't know. I think I'm just trying to avoid... I don't know. aldfhlsdfjlaskrtjkdfg :( this entry has totally drifted from being about percussion ensemble to idon'tknowwhat :P

I'm so confused. I don't know my schedule for the next two weeks but I do know it's crazy. Things are conflicting left and right and it's driving me insane!!! AP tests are coming soon and I havn't prepared for any of them. Calc test is at the end of next week omg i'm going to fail this classsshhhitttt. Freaking musical rehearsal and percussion rehearsal and AP test prep sessions and jazz and blahblahblah. I'm going to die. It won't be pleasant. Whatever, I'm almost done.

On a separate note, I would just like to say that I am nothing like her so please, stop with the comparisons. If anything I'm the good twin, or at least the better one in my opinion.

Also, my mother is being really annoying about prom now. I'd like to get past these next few weeks and then worry about it, thanks.

Percussion did amazing over the weekend and we won SCPA championships yeahhh!! I'm finally on spring break too. New York was an amazing way to start it off. It was pretty freaking cold and I was wearing a lot of layers so the weather is definitely one thing I'll have to get used too. Also the speed of the city. Everyone moves so fast. But overall, I loved it. I didn't feel as out of place as I thought I would. Tomorrow is a percussion day and we're taking the train to LA. I'm really excited for that because I missed the first 2 activity days due to my NYU visit. But NYU was fantastic! I was really glad to meet up with Katie too. The rest of the week will most likely be dedicated to homework. I have quite a bit of spanish I need to do..... I have to prepare an oral presentation :/ I also have to finish the extra credit O'Neill play for english AND I should start studying for AP tests. ouch. I also want to do some shopping with my sister but that will probably be something for the weekend.

Today was a much needed heart to heart time. We all love each other and we all love the ensemble and we all want to be here so we will be the best. ever. I promise. Christina totally made me cry. I really hope this will help create a stronger bond and we'll totally own at SCPA prelims tomorrow. haha. hey it would be nice.

so after ugly crying and freaking out and sleeping lots, we've come to a compromiseeee!!

i shall go to spca prelims with my lovely ensemble family and kick ass and whatnot on april 5th. i will miss the nyu admitted student event specifically for music majors and steinhardt and instead go to the general meeting thing in anaheim on the 18th or something. i will go to new york to visit and get my footing on the east coast during the first few days of spring break and miss the senior perc camping trip. during the rest of spring break i am going to start cleaning/packing/getting rid of old junk so that it won't be such a huge and stressful project come summer time. i will also then set up my checking account and etc. apparently. idk. whatevs. anyway, it all works out in the end kind of. i'm just glad it's all cleared up

Too bad my mom and my sister opened it for me while I was in rehearsal -__-. I may never get to experience that again. Thanks guys. It's such a relief though.. to know that I can actually go to college. Even if NYU is the only school I get accepted to, I don't care. It's a really good school and it was one of my top choices. I'm very happy.

I have my doubts about USC. I don't feel it. I think I'm gonna get rejected.

tomorrow is the disneyland day thing for the career thing. i don't really know why i'm going... it seems more scenic design based but there's like one section for music so yeah.. that's why i'll be there.. i guess. it's pretty exciting but i'm just a little ticked that i have to miss my objective test for king lear.... schmenk wants me to make it up during the half hour tutorial we have on thursday -__- ..right. i'm so over school. i say that a lot, i know, but i really am. i've been over school since like freshman year. bah.
